This is a must go.
I had some of my daughter’s friends there for a tour, and it was amazing. The kids got to learn, touch and hold so many animals, including chinchillas, fox, bunnies, wild cats, prairie dogs, otters, and some reptiles.
Staff was very knowledgeable, made sure everyone stayed safe, and enjoyed themselves!
Best part, any money you are paying is a donation to help feed the animals.
Please call and set up an appointment and support this little zoo! It will NOT be a disappointment!!

Love it. Actually doing some rebuilding work after a devastating fire they had. Kerry and Ben are amazing people with tremendous hearts. Their love and care for these animals is above and beyond. What a blessing it is to be doing a small part to help get Hand me down zoo up and running again.

This sanctuary is awesome. It is very clean, and the animals are well taken care of, which is done solely by the owner and a few volunteers. Tours are with the owner who is very knowledgeable and informative about the animals.

The sanctuary offers encounters some of the animals. So you can interact and touch the animals, which people normally would never have an opportunity to do.  Not to say there aren't strict rules. You cannot roam the sanctuary alone.  Appointments must be made with the owner to enter the grounds to start the tour, this is to ensure the safety of all the animals and the guests.

You can tell this is a labor of love for the owner.  The sanctuary is totally funded by the owner and donations. I would highly recommend taking a tour.
