Having embarked on the journey of 'child's first pet' we visited Dinner time pets to see their range and seek their expert advice. We came straight from another store where a syberian hamster had been seen and loved, but as no cage yet we could not take home that day. Thos store would not reserve and there for we had upset!
We should have come here first!
Staff where much more helpful. Instead peering through bars each hamster was brought out for safe viewing.
Once again one caught my daughters attention. Seeking advice on cage (we elected to purchase one that meets RSPCA sizing guidelines, and where adviced to purchase from elsewhere due to supply costs. This was helpful,honest and exactly the customer and animal centred service that will have us returning for all future pet care purchases.
The chosen hamster was happily reserved for us. As it was a few days waiting for the cage they welcomed us back when my daughter wanted to visit .

Absolutely Brill shop i found by chance when visiting another unit in the area. Since then I've used the shop. The young guy in the reptile section gave me so much help and Knowledge about my bearded dragon and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant raw food for my dogs.

Emailed to give them chance to answer my concerns before posting a review.....never had the decency to answer. Obviously care little for the welfare of the creatures in the shop by the attitude given when one animal in obvious distress was pointed out to a member of staff by not just one couple but two. Replies were both curt and clearly uncaring for its predicament. Left the shop disgusted and my partner upset. Have always enjoyed shopping there but no longer.

The standard reply they send (if it comes) will no doubt be, "Thank you for your rating, not everyone has a good day including sometimes yourself, we look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind Regards"

Took my gran to get a new budgie, not many places still selling them. The staff were friendly and helpful, noticed they had a good range of pet food and exotic pets. They also sold dubia roaches, which last much longer than crickets and provide more nutrients if well fed, my tarantula was very happy. Only fault is there is so much in there it can be a little hard to get around when busy, especially with an elderly lady who's away with the fairies.

Popped in today as it was recommended to us. Was looking for bird food but came out with lots more including a beautiful healthy cockatiel. The lady that looked after us was extremely friendly and very helpful and the 1 way system in place because of the Covid restrictions was brilliant. We'll definitely be back.
